Abduction — Care of Children Act 2004 — Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, ss 95, 105 and 106. Orders made under s 105(2) for the child to be returned promptly to the care of his father in another country after removal by the Mother to New Zealand. Mother’s submissions under s 106(1)(c) that order for return should be refused due to the “grave risk” of exposing the child to physical or psychological harm, or otherwise placing him in an intolerable situation were rejected. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements.
