Pre-trial application for admissibility hearing — Criminal Procedure Act 2011, s 78. The prosecutor sought an admissibility hearing concerning a brief evidence by a scientist who is indirectly connected to the defendant that the defence proposed to call at trial. The court declined the application for a pre-trial hearing and noted that the test of relevancy will be applied to the whole brief of evidence at trial. Judgment Date: 5 March 2018
