Protection order — Domestic Violence Act 1995 — Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988, ss 10 and 14 — Crimes Act 1961, s 59. Personal order made placing the applicant under the jurisdiction of the Court pursuant to s 14 of the PPPR Act, requiring care to be provided until further order of the Court. A protection order under the DV Act was not appropriate on the facts; the father’s parenting fell within the acceptable limits of parental control as set out in s 59 of the Crimes Act. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements.
