Sentencing — domestic violence — protection order — Sentencing Act 2002 — Crimes Act 1961, s 190. Defendant sentenced to 10 months’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to a charge of injuring where, if the victim had died, he would have been guilty of manslaughter. Home detention was not appropriate given the defendant’s previous convictions and lack of remorse.
