Shared care — alienation — The Care of Children Act 2004, s 5. Father to have day-to-day care of the child with contact provisions made for the mother, child's welfare and best interests having been considered (s 5). The mother's negative perception about the father's ability to parent was such that there was a real risk she would hinder the child's psychological development and ability to have a relationship with the paternal family.
