Domestic Violence — parenting order — Care of Children Act 2004, ss 49B, 49B(1) — Domestic Violence Act 1995, s 3(3) . An interim parenting order was made under s 49B, pursuant to the parties wishing to be heard under s 49B(1) prior to the six month interim period coming to an end and the order becoming final. The background to the proceedings was a history of domestic violence, and a relationship between the parties that was volatile and dysfunctional. The children were psychologically abused by exposure to violence as set out in s 3(3) of the Domestic Violence Act.
