Sentencing — Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Court — burglary — driving while forbidden —breaching community work — breaching intensive supervision. Offending which would have warranted over two years’ imprisonment was transferred to a community sentence due to the defendant’s tremendous achievements in the Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Court. The defendant was now over eighteen months sober, employed and an active volunteer worker in his community. A sentence of 12 months’ intensive supervision with judicial monitoring was imposed.
